Friendly Brazilian café. Only stopped for an espresso which was excellent.

Randomly stopped in for lunch and couldn't be happier! They have the usual omlettes, paninis etc. But also do one Brazilian lunch time special everyday which is what I ordered - juicy grilled chicken, rice, beans and salad. Had pudding for dessert 🍮 and chocolate and carrot cake for later😋 . There are a few Brazilian snacks/pastries too which I will definitely be coming back to try! I suggest trying their chilli sauces too, though the green one is only for the brave of heart (you've been warned!) Plenty of indoor seating with a few outdoor tables too and the service was great. They kindly explained the different items they had which I hadn't tried before.

Really lovely owners and amazing food. Called me to say there was no cheese bread in stock and offered me something else which probably cost more than the cheese bread. I would however say don't pack the butter in the bag with the toast because guess what happened by the time my order got to me - the butter melted inside the bag and was unusable.

Full English breakfast list, omelettes, bacon rolls, panini and full coffee list. Day time buffet and evening alcohol bar. Usually drop by here when I’m picking up supplies in AllSorts pet shop across the road or going into Morrison’s. Seating indoors and outdoors. Good strong flavoured Brazilian coffee to kick start the day.

A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering – Minas Café During a leisurely weekend stroll, we stumbled upon a charming little spot, Minas Café. Tucked away from the main road but conveniently close to Morrisons supermarket, this café is a delightful find for anyone seeking a cozy place with character. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff, instantly making us feel welcome. The décor is vibrant and inviting, with colorful artwork and thoughtful words adorning the walls, adding a personal and artistic touch to the space. Although we only stopped in for a morning coffee, it was just 9 a.m but the experience left a lasting impression. The coffee was smooth and well-balanced, a perfect start to our day. I’m already looking forward to returning soon to try their breakfast menu, which looked quite promising. Minas Café may be off the beaten path, but it’s well worth the detour. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on this cozy and creative café.

Wow, what a find courtesy of Edible Reading. Walked into buzzing bakery, obviously a community hub from the comings and goings of Portuguese voices. A counter stacked with Brazilian pastries, pies and savoury pão de queijo for sandwiches. I opted for a cheesy chicken coxinha with lashings of sauces followed by the special plate; perfectly-roasted chicken, rice, beans, potato, salad, rice, spaghetti & meatball (!) and farofa (toasted cassava flour with olives here). Deliciously flaky housemade pastel de nata for dessert. All 100% delicious and served with friendly faces and smiles. Definitely great atmosphere of regulars and it’s obvious why! Go!

Absolutely amazing Brazilian café! I’ve been to Minas Café almost every day, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places I’ve ever eaten. The Brazilian food is delicious, authentic, and always freshly made — and the omelette is hands down the best I’ve ever had! The service is outstanding, especially thanks to Matheus and Fran, who make every visit feel warm and personal. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming, it truly feels like home. Highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised; the prawns, chicken, and chicken sweetcorn puff items were delicious. The sauces were particularly impressive, especially the spicy green pepper cream and herbs sauce. Despite a bit of water in the omelet, it was out of this world. We also appreciated that they sell these items. Overall, a delightful experience with genuinely sweet staff.

Been to this store a few times and was left impressed every single time by the quality of the food and the amazing service. Its the only place i know that does fresh sugar cane juice which is to die for. And the pastries are also a must try as they are made fresh everyday. Really recommend to try this spot if you are in the area.

Now these guys know how to do customer service. A real pleasure eating here and boy do they know how to do a bacon roll. Great food, cracking service ans a proper cup of tea. Well worth a visit.
